For someone new to ask what pop-up eliminators you cats use. And I'm going to be the guy to put forth the questions.....

So what do you guys all use? Up until recent, I've never had problems with popups, now there starting to piss me off. I've ran ad-aware, bazooka, and S&D..Nothing is on my system, but they still pop up...

spybot, etc. arent popup blockers.

you might still have messenger enabled.
disable that service.

"popup blocker" programs are gay - this is a feature
that any real browser should have itself.
use either firefox, mozilla, or opera.

Yep firefox here + i run zone alarm as a software firewall on all machines, that has the option of blocking pop ups/pop under, banners & codes like vb script and javascript..i think sygates privacy control is similar.

I use mozilla, but I was still getting popups. I've solved the problem since my post. Thanks for the replies though.

Do yourself a favor and install spywareblaster. This will prevent spyware from coming in. Then if pop ups are random IE not relate to site i would go through adaware etc. I use no popup blockers and never get a pop up
