I forget which counties exactly libs grow in, in europe. But its quite possible he just printed a few (either way, how do we know you correctly identified them, besides the obvious print) and is looking to trade for something else. Its hard to tell with his english. (lack)

They grow here in the Pacific Northwest, and in Europe.. Quite similar climates, really.

Yeah, I know, but I remember reading a list of which countries. I think it was actually in stamets' book, but it listed france... and not england? wtf? don't they definately grow in england?

Anyway, I'm assuming they originated from the pacific northwest here right? How have they become so wide spread in europe? Its not generally a species thats cultivated. its not even like they exist in new england and it could've happened long, long, long ago. I've also wondered this about shrooms in australia, thailand, vietnam, etc. Most descriptions in books limit cubes to south america, texas, florida, louisiana, etc.
