Linux Laptops...
    #3361050 - 11/14/04 07:32 PM (13 years, 7 days ago)

I was wondering if anybody can recommend companies that sell laptops with linux pre-installed on them? I work in IT, and have to work on SecureCRT command lines all the time anyway, so I figured to actually live out my morals, and not support an OS that I know is, simply put, quite crappy. So I've been looking on the net for laptops with pre-installed linux... I haven't been looking too hard yet, but thought I'd see if anybody here has a recommendation before I really start my search.

Thanks!

installing linux is the best 1st step to learning linux.

roll your own unless your specifically looking to avoid the M$ tax and/or put $ into OSS.

I had an Acer Travelmate with Centrino and Windows XP plus Linux. I recommend that!
