 Which mushroom gives the most mellow high?

I've only had Psilocybe Cubensis so far which grow locally out here. I'm not into earth-shattering-brain-starring-multiple-splitting-of-the-ego with a heart rate of 150 . I was wondering if you guys could relate which mushrooms have given you the most laid back high. I don't mean the weakest - I'm into colors and nice visuals and thinking and relaxing and walking through nature and all that. I like to keep my brain as much as I can while tripping, severe 'mindfuck' is paticularily unpleasent. Which mushrooms at what dose do you recommend from your experiences? I've read that Panaeolus castaneifolius may be what I'm after.

Mexi-cubs for me, but I'm sure everyone will have different opinions. For me Mexi's are very chill and audible as well as colorfull. I've eaten 8 strains so far and thats my opinion.......

Anyway I can find heaps of Amanita's near my house, so that is literally an option. I posted a msg in Hunting Topic about Amanita's just before I read this, by co-incidence. Hmmmm. "DeathCap" doesn't sound that bad...

If your looking for a nice mellow high,DONT TAKE Aminita muscaria.It for the most part s not suppose to be a ver nenjoyable buzz.Read up on them at Erowid.

Though I'ver heard some people say that they like the Amanita high better than the psilocybes. Some say that at certain times of the year they can be feel very narcotic like. But you should always dry them first.

I think B+ are mellow. They are the only ones that I've known which type they were when I did them. Compared to acid though they are very nice.

HI Wombat,
Well according to the Mazatec Indians the most sought after and tranquil mushroom used by these and other indigenous tribal groups living int he high montane regions of the Sierra Mazateca in Oaxaca is Psilocybe mexicana Heim.
In the Pacific Northwest region of America and most of the world, the most tranquil mushroom is Psilocybe semilanceata, the liberty cap mushroom. This one is common in parts of Australia and again i refer you to my book on that subject matter posted at erowid.org.
The most potent shroom in the world is Psilocybe cyanescens.
The weakest mushrooms are Psilocybe cubensis,and Panaeolus subbalteatus followed by P. pelliculosa.
