so, last night as i was driving home from a friends, a car turned left right in front of me, i had to swerve to avoid it, went over the curb, and totalled my car. to make matters much worse, i had been drinking, the police came, and i have to go to arraignment on, i guess, a DWI. damn damn damn.... i was looking on the internet for penalties for first time offences - the most worrisome for me is the threat of "immobalization" for 180 days - i'm supposed to move to Denmark in 2 months to go to school... thankfully, no other cars or people were involved in the accident - but i still may have fucked myself over... does anybody have any experience with a first time DWI offence in Michigan (while under 21)?

No experience there you should be ok. Take another driving test over seas' just don't use insurance or your fucked.

i know here in california he lost his license for a year, had to attend classes, and spend 3 days in jail. Good luck, hell if you're going out of the country, who cares about the immobilization.
