Candle Lighting....

I read in a massage magazine recently that certain types of candles can be hazardous to your health. Research has found that candles made from paraffin wax causes a lot of air pollution in the home. The soot from paraffin candles can get in your lungs and make it difficult to breath almost like a light asthma. Most candles that you can by are made from paraffin but there is an alternative soy or beeswax candles. Not only do these candles not produce soot because they are all natural but they can neutralize the particles of dust and such in your home. These candles can cost a bit more, but for me the potential long term effects of paraffin wax has convinced me to by soy or beeswax candles next time.

Not only that by paraffin wax is made by merely refining the products that don't make it into the oil you use in your car. Who wants that in their lungs.

Besides beeswax smells sooo nice.

Usually if its soy of beeswax it will be advirtised as such. If not its usually paraffin.
