i havent been doing it too much lately but i collect things that i can turn around and make money with. for example, my town has a junk out, at one house i found a crap load of old books. i found an almost full set of happy hollister books which i turned around and sold them for more than 250 dollars on ebay. i still have a bunch of other books like a copy of oliver twist from the the 18oo's and the first printing of 2001 space odyssey. when i was younger i used to collect old beatle records and old star wars toys which i still have all of them. hopefully in later years to come i will be sitting on a small fortune.

I used to collect guitars mainly because my best friend is such a great player...I never played anywhere near his level.
At one time i had about 7 differant Gibson and Fender guitars which i eventually sold on e-bay for a pretty good profit...I will allways regret selling my `62 re-issue SG Gibson at a guitar show in Austin for $900  It was worth at least $2000 at the time *wipes tears from eyes

Ideas. My own mostly. And tools to build them with.
I guess you'd call it invention or goofing off depending on how useful you think they are.
