 Mini Terrarium/Casing question. HELP!!!!

Okay so my cat decided to do a mini casing/terrarium out of solo cups and some vermiculite as described in the Casing TEKs on the main page. My cat crumbled up 2 Puerto Rican cakes and 1 PESA cake all in the same bag and did the TEK to a "T". It's been weeks and there are no signs of mushies. It colonized the casing layer and there's white fuzz and what appears to be pins on the top (white balls of fluff)... these have been showing for more than a week. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......... what should I do?? Did mixing the strains screw everything up? I've been told that would be okay and both types in a casing would be fine.. they'd pop up together. Should I investigate under the top casing layer??

ya you fucked your shit up by mixing strains together. dont do that shit. I would still try to fruit it (remember it may take 2 weeks) those puff balls are primidora which is a good sign. You will probablly get fruits. I believe one strain will dominate the other and fruit. Post pictures and let us know what happens. Don't go poking at that shit, just keep them in ideal fruiting conditions.

Derx is right and i suggest that you watch your humidity, if you have fluff for a long time and no knots, then you're humidty's to high and u'll probably get overlay, Sam's got the best overlay pic. ever, lol, way to go Sam, haha, gl.....and i hope ur junk fruits? later

AWWWWWWWW FAWK!! It's been weeks since that all that started.. I think I'm gonna give it a few days.. then plant it outisde and hope for the best.. waste not want not right?

If its only been a week give it time. When you see the myc stop growing it prolly means its gonna start pinning.

The myc. has stopped growing on top.. 2 of the 3 are completely covered in myc, and I've already had 2, almost 3 flushes on my other lil dudes. The other one is about 1/2 covered on the top but I can see whispy myc just below the other part. The EXACT day that I cased these guys was 10/20/04. I'd say there might be a wee problem. As far as humidity is concerned... the mini terrarium tek explains that there is no misting or fanning required, and that the terrarium is fully self enclosed until first flush. Dang I'm worried.. I've been giving it "a little more time" for it seems weeks!
