Thanx mate, cool!

Edit: its weird though, the yalways say popcorn is a slow starter and I used 1,2 CC in a pint where I use 1-1,2 CC in a jar as well and the popcorn is more colonizing then the jars. Some jars still show no sign of colonizing at all... :frown:

ok i had to use a syrige that needed to be resterilized once and all i did was suck some isopropyll alcohol in it squirted it out and then got some water boiling and sucked it in and then repeated a couple of times with the water, the only bad part to that is that fucking water was hot when sucking it into the syringe. but i ended up with no contams so all was good.

I see that your just not understanding the problem here... It is the air inside when you make the syringe, read back where I said you must make sure you get all the air out (the smallest bubble will have a large result). And, when pressure cookers are operated, the water boils with the reduction in pressures caused by the rocker moving even in jars and syringes (especially agar flasks, they love to boil over in my PC). This can cause the syringes to get "steam bubbles" inside them, thus removing water...

Just try it and see what happens. Point the needles strait up and it may work. At least I got an idea from this discussion, I am going to try to PC a syringe pointed strait up next time...

Why not just put your needles in a pint jar, point up, and then use the water in the bottom of the PC?

you could just sterilize the syringes (empty) in aluminum foil and a jar
of water with it, I dont recomend using the water from teh bottom of the PC

I've never had a problem with tap water, simply fill a jar with some and place
a cap with a polyfil filter on it and PC for about 30 minutes...

Something for my list to buy: "polyfill"

I had something left from my ancient aquarium hobby which I used partly as a filter in my popcorn jar.

Thanks prisoner.

i have done this twice without any contams...pc a syringe with alot of water....then add some h2o2 to the water and use the water you pced to inject into your cakes...10cc's is way to much use like 5 to 7 at the max depending on how the cake looks...they may be a little dry when you birth but that is okay because you should dunk and roll anyways...better them to be dry than get too wet

Yesterday I did it, pc-ed a jar with a hole in the lid with polyfill, 2gether with a syringe.
Injected the water from teh jar in 4 of teh cakes.
10cc aint too much imho cause when I made the cake i put
140 verm
40 water
40 brf in it.

Now that is 50 water.

Next time ill use 100 50 50. like 500 250 250 for 4 cakes.
