i'm going to be using the shroom wizards grow guide and i was wondering something. i hear a lot of people talking about using syringes. why? are they a lot easier? will my method of scraping off the spore work? is a syringe safer as far as getting the right amount in a jar? thanks

I would suggest, if this is your first time, purchasing spore syringes from a vendor (Hawk or Sporechicks). The scraping the spores method SUCKS! I think I first tried it back years ago with a "kit" I got from Homested. If you want to make your own syringe, and have a 10 or 12 cc syringe, here is a great Tek:

dont use that tek, it barely ever works, use the pf tek or mmgg tek.... scraping spores into the jars opens them up more for contamination....

DONT USE SHROOMWIZARDS TEK! It barely ever works, I lost all twenty jars I tried to use to it. Them I started using PF Tek (with ramsey seal) and havent lost one out of 40 jars.
