Good ways to xfer mycellium to the jars

When I go picking for shroomz, I normally bring back some manures where you can easily spot the mycellium growing. When I keep them on a plastic bag the culture keeps growing (sometimes giving some shrooms too ) My question is what is a good way to pick the mycellium from the manures and place them on the substrate jars avoiding contamination. What I'm trying now is to place the mycellium previously in some distilled water with peroxide, I've read somewhere that mycellium can resist some peroxide. Does any one have a better way? or doing somthing similar but in a siringe? Any comment will be appreciated. Thanks,

I would think that it would be like cloning. As long as you are sterile and you take a sterile sample of the mycelium and put it somewhere (like in some sterilized substrate or a syringe) then the mycelium will probably grow.
If you are sure about your sterility, I'd suggest putting some of it in some grain.
And you could also put some in a syringe.
You seem to understand the idea behind it, just put it into practice properly and you'll probably have some decent mycelium to play around with.
Let us know what you end up doing, eh?

Sure.. I have inoculated 3 jars with this method about a week ago, one got contaminated, the others seams fine.. but I did the xfer practically by hand. What I'm looking for is for some way of sterilizing from other spores the mycellium I get from the manures. Any tips?

Sounds like a lot of trouble. What about making a spore print from the caps you find and using that?

well the last time... most of them were or too dried or to wet to take good prints from. Besides that, I still want to know how to transfer wild growing mycellium into a controled enviroment without contamination.

yeah i don't know much about it, but from the reading Ive been doing it seem like you would want to do some agar transfers, also you could make a liquid culture out of the tissue inside the wild mushrooms, and in about 6 days you should have enough to make a sterile syringe.

tha liquid curture sounds good, any tips to keep it sterile?, I guess if I do agar, I will still have the same problem to transfer it to the jars.
