 Salvia prices vs. quality

How is it that IAmShaman sells 1g of 6x extract for $6, while Sage Wisdom (can I say that?) sells it for $45? Sage Wisdom states:

There's basically standardized and non-standardized. One's further refined, not leaving all of the plant fats and chemicals. The other's just a little more crude. To be honest, I prefer the non-standardized extracts although they're not so nice on your lungs.
One thing to consider is that it's not like you'll be puffing salvia like you'd puff a ciggarette. Unless you really like to indulge, which also ain't too good.

Haha, i'd go with iamshaman for sure. 45 bucks for a gram of 6x, even if standardized, is ridiculous.

whatever supplier you chose,
standardized is a cleaner and more professional preparation
it will be dry and will burn well with an ordinary lighter or match.
it will be a lighter color as well.
I have had excellent non-standardized as well, but those preparations are often still wet from residual alcohol and excess of chlorophyl and unecessary plant oils. non-standardized is a heavier smoke.

Since I don't plan to do this more than once a month (if that), one single pull of harsher smoke shouldn't hurt, should it?
I've found that tobacco smoke is infinitely harsher to breathe in than Salvia smoke, too.
I suppose $11 isn't too much to pay for a standardized dose, but I'm wondering if it's likely to be more potent.

more evenly prepared, so it is easier to measure out what you want to imbibe,
not expensive at all for what you get.

IAmShaman is the best quality for the price i have found so far. i bought a gram of 10x.. and i still have almost all of it left, it'll last forever (for me at least)

Wait a second.
are you guys saying salvia is legal to possess and ship in the US? I didn't even know its seeds were. How much do you need per dose?

LOL yeah, buddy. It's completely legal everywhere but Australia.
In general, a strong dose is 1/2 gram (smoked), and scaled appropriately if using extract (e.g. 5x requires 5x less = 1/10 gram, 10x requires 1/20 g, etc...)
