rhizomorphic growth after birth

Afoaf has some cakes that have been birthed and while they were still in the jar colonizing a few mushies sprouted. After the birth, the mushies grew and were picked. The cakes are resting on the ball jar lid, and there is rhizomorphic growth on the bottom of the cake onto the actual ball jar lid. Also, after the few mushies that were invitro were picked they have not started to pin yet. I told him about the dunk so he decided to try to dunk today and see how that went. Is it normal for the rhiz growth to continue like that? Also, is it possible that was was growing invito and then after birth was picked be the first flush? If so it was the weakest flush ever. Does anyone have any tips/advice I could tell them?

Id say you have some sort of super intelligent, master race of mycelium here, and perhaps theres only one thing to do. Kill or be killed. The choice is yours.
Just playin. Myc has a tendancy to go pretty much wherever it wants, dont be too concerned with it, make sure the temperature of your chamber is in the low 70s and the o2 stays high. Youll be golden.

It's fine. It probably found some water and is reaching out for it.
It'll switch back to generative growth shortly. Keep it at around 72-75F, lots of fresh moist air and plenty of light to initiate pinning. Worst that can happen is ugliness from that growth. Be thankful your don't look like some of mine. Anyway, it'll fruit fine. Good luck

That verm is fine. you can sort of straighten out the verm on top so all the top is covered, though... Use a clean teaspoon.
