damn right. i just quit after 4 years, and those first few days were the hardest. after that, i've been gradually stepping down..i was at a pack a day 6 months ago, now i might bum one on saturday night or something, but i haven't bought any in months. i'm within reach of stopping completely, and it feels great. try cold turkey, try stepping down gradually, try the patches, try the gum...DO IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!!

I quit after smoking a pack a day for 10 years (it's been almost 2 years) - you think quitting after 6 months is hard???...

but if you don't quit now, statistically, you'll smoke for life and probably die of lung cancer, stroke, emphysema.

i've quite twice in the past 6 months - i stopped smoking for the month of july - but then started back up in august when i moved back to the US... quit again just over a month ago, and feeling great about it. i'm going to see if i can regulate myself to just bumming one or two once a week when drinking, but if i can't keep that self-moderation, i'll go back to stopping entirely...

today i was like shit last cig and i'm broke as fuck nows a good time to quit smoking. did i mention i have credit cards, hmm yea that didn't last so long :frown:
