casing question

heres what i did ( took a cake pf style and grew ist out and then mixed it w/ cow shit/ straw mix it has grown out about 96%)
heres the question: should i put a nother layer of shit on top[ of it ? or should i just case it w/ the 50/50 plus tek?
i need help time is short!

my monkey says us the 50/50 plus tek. less chance of contams.
