The Anti MEA and the MEA are mixed and divided into 25 gram bags (at my request) by a chemical lab--just to let people I did not become a chemist over night.
Flasks 50 to 1000ml pm me for pricing--all are autoclavable polypropylene or nalgene and great for mixing and sterilizing MEA
We also have compost available it is horse manure and wheat straw etc I just used it 2 weeks ago and am waiting for 1st mushies so I can post picks but it does look promising.

I have agar on the way It is anti-biotic agar. I can seel it in different sizes could someone offer suggestions as to the size wanted?? or most used?? 1/2 oz. 1 oz. etc...

That's strange, that it would not be the same for both of us
Mine is from a chem-bio lab Bactria grade agar, gentamycin sulfate, light malt and soy peptone, if is a little spendy but boy does they spores, mycelium love it when I do a transfer say half in by half in square over night you can see progress usually and about 5-7 to fully cover.
You want to swap a little of yours for mine?? I would like to check it out, I have always used this so something new might be fun.

Sure we can.
All standard agar recipes call from 15-20 g agar per liter.
You use 50. Doesn?t that make a very hard agar?
As for the nutrients, the agar mix I use is little on the lower side.
But it?s on purpose.
This way I don?t have to transfer the cultures to a new dish so often and senescence is slower.

Wait, when you say you use 50 g per liter you mean the premixed agar, agar plus dextrose plus peptone..?
So the agar agar content would be something under 25 g/liter?

be careful with antibiotic agar!
you should use it only when you can't do without,otherwise you could enhance the develpment of resistant pathogenic bacterial and mycological (molds) strains.
moreover these substances could change methabolism of your micelia select unuseful strains (or worst)

Well after looking into this I found that your money is worth 1/2 of the american dollar so
Australia Dollar/ cash - cheque 0.5496000 So If I gave you a dollar you would have to give me a 1.81
Do the math take your value and divide it by 1/your exchange rate.
