Man shroomery software must of been pretty terrible back in the day, copy and pasted signatures at the end of every post :rofl2:

If i ever made dry cakes I'm not sure I would admit to it, congrats on getting it to work though.

A lot of members now have signatures that if you just sit and read the links in them you'll walk away with everything needed to cultivate.  When I began it took me a long time of sifting through people growing in fucking coolers and poor man pods... crap with plastic bags on top of totes lol.

Preph you just know it al huh. Well for thenhaters telling me I should of grow. My stuff out, very glad I didn't. For any one who does try and "fix" a problem be very cautious I do agree with that. Watch smelling the jars to if there is any type of contaminant. I watched my very closely, through out 3 and the rest were ok.... And here is the results as of today.http://

There are no haters. We all want you to succeed. But doing stuff half assed will catch up to you. It's important to form good habits now. Don't be satisfied with a few pathetic fruits, shoot for good results.

The main reason people are so paranoid about contams is that they can be a real problem. Get a high enough spore load in your house and you will soon find yourself wanting to move to be away from them. Everyone just wants you to have success. The first key to success is being able to toss a liability to preserve your future attempts.

You got lucky, and I don't consider it a success. Just lucky. I have seen more fruits from substrates that I dumped in the garbage.

Hopefully forgetting to add water to your spawn or sub is not a common problem with most growers.  Sorry but I think that's funny.

Thanks for updating the post though.  I will definitely add water to my next grow lol.

Edit:  I'm not being a dick at all

why would you even want some noob to find this, and try what you tried? he would be better off burying them outside, and starting over, because they will most likely all contam. you got lucky. and not even THAT lucky. how many cakes did you say contam'd from doing this, or got lethargic(likely from high level of bacteria/contam from the "fix")? and how many are fruiting healthy now? ok then.

im pretty sure you and the original OP are probably the only people to have ever forgotten WATER anyways, honestly.

You may get asked this all the time, but how exactly did you get 1/2 pints to fruit like that? Just following the tek to a tee? I'm only on my second run through PF tek so excuse the eagerness.

The cake in my signature is a 1/4 pint cake with tones of small fruits.
The amount of BRF in the cake was 1/4 BRF and water per every 2/3 verm due to following an outdated tek. Still ended up looking pretty cool, but hoping on my second run through PF tek with 1/2 pints and more BRF and water, that maybe I can get the same kind of action... Only with bigger fruits... like yours :justdontknow:

it all comes down to genetics and conditions.

i use the standard 2:1:1 verm:brf:water. just need to use clean inoculant, and keep the conditions optimal. also, cloning/isolating would help as well, but you can still get lucky with genetics with MS.

Ahh I figured genetics came into play. Looks like I'm stuck with random MS fruits till I get on them pasty plates
