an odd approach to liquid myc.

ok.. So im looking at my jars and im thinking about that myc pressing up against the sides. Im thinking when i take out the cake, there must be little bits that dont make it, or microscopic pieces that remain.

So what if you removed your cakes in a glove box, poured some sterile water in the now empty jar, add a capful of h2o2 and suck it up into a syringe? You couldnt go beyond two generations but hell it would be a nice way to pull a myc solution out of your ass. thoughts?

It should work. Not sure how long it'd last. I read something about actually squirting water into the jar WITH the cake in it and shaking it, sucking the water up. If its all sterile you could maybe use it as a "dirty" karo jar.

might work if you use less sterile water(like 3 CC's, and after sucking it up into syringe, eject it onto a petri, that has h2o2 and agar in it.
I dont think the myc solution is going to be strong enough to populate very fast, unless you try a petri first to test how strong it really is. a petri will also help you see if bacteria is present. (h2o2,, i know but one never knows for sure)

Squirt sterile water into colonized jars before opening them shake it around and suck it back up.
