sweet. owning snakes rules all

how long is it and how much does it weigh?

--------------------
Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Thats a really cool pet! What type of snake is that? I used to own a balled python, which looked very similar, except for being just 3 feet long.

snakes can carry it if they are not taken care of....

but if you take care of your snake like any pet you would love, then you are good to go...

allways wash your hands with antibacterial soap after handling any reptile for that matter though....

out of all the snakes I ever owned the kingsnake was my favorite!

any snake that eats other snakes is cool in my book.

though I love snakes, that thing is huge!!!!!!!!!

tres cool! ive only ever seen videos of that. everytime ive headed south to go rattler catching those damn things have eluded me! next time.

about salmonela. a snake cant spontaniously sprout salmonelia. its usualyl from these 2 things. improper food precautions (ie leaving teh dead prey around for a while), and/or shit. water also has a way with it. keep the animals cage clean and it wont be a problem.

i have always contemplated getting a jampea dwar but the $ and cites always turned me off. but tigers woudl certainly be my second choice if size was no issue. far better looking that supers imo.

That is a beautiful snake cisole. Don't you love the feel of their skin right after a shed? So smooth and glossy. I kept snakes for about 12 years and can't wait to get back into it, it's an addiction. Here a couple of pics of Burms I used to own:

those are beautifull!

and yes I love that feeling, its definitely an aquired taste!

that second one almost looks like an molorus molorus (True Indian) and those are an Endangered Species...

not that I ever would keep an E.S. :whistling:

it does but im betting my life its a hybrid, or just pure burm, as is seemingly ever one in captivity in NA.

we learned not to do the bathtub thing... was helping my buddy with his green anaconda and it was doing its thing we came back in the room after a few and it had doen a s shape thing between those hot/cold knobs and bent the hot and broke teh tile around the cold. theya re so powerfull, even when just moving.

great pics guys! giant boids are definatly teh wya to go if space allows!

Next reptile show I can get you a rhino.
Been a couple years since I have gone there. But last time there were plenty of them. Id be interested in a gaboon. Whats your male look like? More colors then the female?

just wondering some are against the surgery, i feel if its done in sterile enviorments with the proper sedatives and meds then its fine and it creates a great animal and allows for more interaction with the animal and lower risk.
