    #3337485 - 11/09/04 01:52 PM (19 years, 4 months ago)

HEy i took shrooms.. ahh.. a few weeks ago i suppose, maybe a month.. i had terrible cramps for hours. WEll anyways the other day I saw a little blood on the tissue after taking a shit, then again.. then again.. there has only been three instances, and between those were diarrhea.. so has anyone had this problem from shrooms? im thinking if i see blood again im going to a gastroenterologist... any insight would be appreciated.

Go to a doctor now. That could be a sign of colon cancer. I highly doubt it had anything to do with the shrooms though.

Colon cancer from blood on a tissue? Please.. he probably wiped too much and caused a brush burn, which takes a week or 2 to heal.

This is not uncommon for anybody.....
If the blood is just on the tissue when you whipe, you can have a small hemroid. I know it sounds bad but people get these all the time. (Do a search) Its basically just an irritated blood vessel in your colon that is caused by intesnse or stubborn bowel movements. Discomfort and extreme exertion while crapping is a sign and cause of this. The good news is they will usually go awayby themselves if it gets easier to shit. Increase your fiber intake (what do you think metamucil and all those fiber wafers are for at Walgreens) Preperation H can be used if you have any itching. The doctor can tie them off but this is not necessary unless they get worse (gets bigger)
****However*** if the blood is intertwined in the stool, this can be a sign of internal bleeding and that is definately a "GO TO THE DOCTOR TYPE THING"
Nevertheless----- None of these are shroom related
