Kit Kuestion.

I was talkin to a friend yesterday about shroom cultivation, he recommended just buying a kit. I have searched several of the sponsors for the shroomery, found one that sold some good looking kits but a disclaimer above it said kits weren't sold in the US for legal reasons???? Right now i am about to order some spores from TH (so i can use them for microscopic purposes) but if any of you know any links that i can purchase reliable, simple, easy, *cheap* kits from i might do that instead.
Just askin you guys before i send 40 bucks off in an envelope, wanna make sure i made the most sensible decision. I like the idea of a low maintenance simple kit as compaired to buying spores, buying vermiculite/perlite/othershit and potentially screwing it up since i'm a newbie.
Kthx.

I reccomend investing your money in a pressure cooker and jars, and setting up an incubator you'll end up with much larger, faster harvests and a grow you'll learn from.
But, if you insist on buying a "kit" then go with it. It's good to do it the tried and true way and mess up and learn from it. The more money and time you're willing to invest, you can expect better rewards.
Good luck.

kits are not a wise investment in my opinion, and most will agree. The kits that cannot be sold in the states contain live mycellium. Start with the pf tek and work up. you will be rewarded handsomely.

I wouldn't have cold feet about it usually, but right now i'm financially not doing good and i dont want to put too much money into it. I'll most likely just do it the regular way without a kit unless i find a good sexy kit deal of some sort.

Could be too good to be true! Best invest in a proven method that we all learned on than get burned with poor instructions and results...
12 1/2 pints = $6 fruiting chamber = $3-5 brown rice flour = $3 vermiculite = $3 knowledge = PRICELESS!

no need for plexiglass if you find the right chamber! ie a clear one.
heat for the spawn run is good. most of us have xmas lights lying around...or put the jars on the water heater.
also you should borrow a pressure cooker. Or buy one from walmart and return it when you're done.

dont get a clear one.. or you get your mushrooms to do this...
Just go to 99 cent store and get some clear plastic paper protector like this...
Good luck
