I was considering ordering some drieright from one of shroomery.org's sponsors, but I was curious whether or not I could find it somewhere here in my hometown.
Where do you get yours?

You can get DampRid at Wal-Mart or various other places.

Damp rid is very popular desiccant for closets and such... try k-mart, walmart, supermarkets and such...
I'm cheap and I like packaged ones out of the food items.

any drugstore/supermarket i'd think...that is if you use epsom salt. bake in the oven at high temp for 45 or so minutes, let cool in airtight/moisture free container...when cool add fan dried mushies. re-use epsom salt when it gets too moisture rich.

i prefer my food dehydrator minus the heating element. seems to work faster than damprid for me. just my $.02.
I've found that epsom salts get saturated too quickly and turn into a huge lump.
