Received these today in the mail and they are really nice looking.  Apparently a subspecies of T. bridgesii.  Well anyway they're susposed to be super magical

yes sir they are both technically for planting   propogation is important to me.  need to find a new clay pot because one of em is pretty big.  and as always i'll use that pot with a mixture of nan's soil mix for cacti.

so many ribs and so many spines... that would take a long time to skin! but it doesn't matter when you're going to put them in soil

Cool. I did a search after I asked that and BBB was the only site that came up. I've had nothing but good experiences with them in the past, so I'll be ordering one of those babies myself soon. Thanks!

If it came from bbb it should be good. However, no way that's a bridgesii. Totally different species for sure. I would think it would be active, shall we say. I'd sure like to find out what it is. If you decide to test it let us know how it went.

Yeah the BBB site doesn't specifically state that it is a subspecies of bridgesii, just that some people believe it to be.

Picture posted by M.S. Smith on the nook in responce to socratesmind's post there on this subject.

He stated he didn't believe it to be a T. inermis (and that no such species existed) but rather a "Trichocereus harrissima - aka - Trichocereus brevispinulosus."

Here's the thread:
