Dry Grains in Mycobag
    #3334791 - 11/08/04 11:10 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I have a mycobag thats about 75 percent colonized, but it stopped growing about a 4 days ago. Apon inspection, it`s obvious that the part that isnt colonized is cracker dry....I guess my heat source was to hot near the bottom...but what do I do now?

Ummm, cut out the dry part with a sharp non-serated knife? that or moist it and see what happens it you really really need the whole thing or if ur meticilous and just want it all colonized, gl

I have used PCed water and syringe in bags of straw that dried out with success 3 of 3 times.

I was wondering if its possible to just fruit the colonized portion in the bag...bould I do this? If so how? Open the bag and remove the uncolonized part and fruit as normal?

What was the process behind your myco bag, did you order a sterile one or did you PC it yourself?
