well apparently i didnt do enough. right now i should be peaking but im barely getting threshold effects, next time im gonna need a full eighth, this is just like stoning, i can barely even call it a trip. maybe i can hopefully fall asleep...

Sounds like weak mushrooms. Half an 1/8 of good mushies gets me to the point where I have to sit and I can't talk.

i love how dude brings back a SEVEN YEAR OLD thread to say he needs 2.5 grams to trip. Seems the substantial bumps are always pointless posts.

Not to mention the original poster hasn't been on the shroomery for over 6 years.

Theres a lot of times when I'm looking through old threads and I start to reply to one of them, then I notice the date and its years old.

It depends on what type of tripping you're talking about. Like L, I've done as frequently as once a month, but then there are things like DMT, which I'd probably only do once a decade if even that much lol.

I guess in the end it all depends on your physiology as well as how it affects you mentally. For some, it can even help to take L in therepeutic doses once every few days, while for others this may just drive them insane. Don't worry about what others are doing, and Id say listen to what you're body is saying to you at the time. If its a fine day to drop some L or shrooms, then so be it. But don't force trips to happen based on timeframe. Timing and inner wellbeing is a big portion to having a good trip overall.

You have to be aware, that each trip digs deep into your subconsciousness. You have to integrate the experience and not shake it up every week. A sensible number would be 3-4 times a year. In my opinion it is a mistake to do that casual tripping because you are bored or whatnot. Pick a special event like a festival or a beautiful summer day and then go deep. After that take your time to integrate, understand what the mushroom wants to teach you and improve your life during your sober time. Repeat after a few months. I definitely feel, when the mushroom spirit calls me again.
