is this an amanita pinhead?

found this in the woods today..cold and rainy..got ate up by the bugs before it could fully mature..is it an amanita?got the bulb like stem and white patches on the underdeveloped cap

Amanita button for sure, probably too young to key definitely to species. What color was the skin of the cap under the cottony veil tissue?
