cheap pressure cooker

hey all..
im on a relatively tight budget and was looking for a cheaper pressure cooker...well i called up sears and they have one for about $40 but i think she said it was either a 4-6 quart...would this work?

man mejiers and walmart have em for 20 dollars if your only going with a 4-6 quart. but yeah itll work for small work like 1/2 pints

How many 1/2 pints could u fit in a 4-6 quart PC?
Damn, if they're only 20-40 bucks, i could easily get a small one.

not sure on how many they fit but i seen one at walmart on sell for 17.99 but it was a four quart pretty small looking to me but im still on the steam tek so im not to sure on the amount the fit, i think it says it on the box though

awesome...i just wasnt sure if the cheaper ones didnt work as well as the ones ive seen for $500 lol...but yea i dont mind having to do a few batches of jars if necessary...thanks!

i have the one at walmart.. 17.99 mirro 4.2L hold 5 1/2 pint narrow mouth snug... probably 6 stacked 1/2 wide mouth.. 3-4 1 pinters....

Nice, I may have to go get this. So far I've been using a friend's autoclave, but for that price it's worth it for the independence.
