Is this normal? This is PC-Plantasian Mystery...I didn't start to see ANY mycelium growth until day 6, which was when jar #12 had a little spec. Day 7, jar 7 had a little spec. The pic in the attatchment is of day 9...is that average growth amount? I'll also post a day 7 pic.

What cha got going for substrate there? Looks a bit chunky! Slow growth can depend on many things like temps being too low. I think things will pick up for you now...

I've got nicotine stains on my fingers.

Thanks for the info...I'm using "Professional Grade" vermiculite, some organic rye flour, and some organic brown rice that was thrown in a blender. Next time I'm gonna use Finch seed or Chex tek, and I'm definately investing in a pressure cooker. This is my first time cultivating.

Again I see people run fo rthe pressure cookers. If cash is problem or you just smply wonder if buying a pres cooker is the only way, try a regular steamer. I use a microwave one, for real....Wal mart too.... 6.87 plus tax.....pressure cooker.....cost......same as Sack O' nuggs......Wal Mart brother...Wal Mart.....j/j...but I was serious though.
