It's been 5 days at Z strain, which have been very fast so far, and still no pins. I'm prob just getting ahead of myself, but just in case does it sound like I'm doing everything right? 73-75F 98-100% humidity I fan it out good and spray on all 4 sides of the chamber every 3 hours 12 hours of light a day Am I missing something? Maybe I'm just to excited, but I want to make sure I'm not goofing.

Sounds like you're doing great! You're pins are just taking a while to show, don't worry, you're doing fine. Can take up to two weeks to get pins, but with your conditions you should be having pins any day now. - Silven Edit: Did you dunk/cold shock/roll those cakes, or just directly birth them after colonization?

Don't fan quite so much, maybe? But otherwise, sounds great! Just be patient and keep doing what you're doing. Good luck!

5 days isn't long enough.. Patience. Give it another 2-3 at the least, 5-7 at the most.. then start worrying.

Give them Cambodians time.... I'm by no means an expert, but 2 "generations" of Cambodian cakes have both taken 12-14 days to pin for me, while 2 generations of Ecuadors have both pinned in ~6 days.. all in the same Pod.

i hope your wrong disc ima cry if i have to wait that long. the casing is all knoted up, and growth had seemed to slow down on em the past day. If it takes that long by then my next shipment of syringes will be here (B+ and Golden Teacher). I thought cambodians were suppost to be one of the fastest growers? or is that just colonization.

Yeah, I think that's just colonization. The fast times I'm seeing with the Ecuadors lead me to believe that it's just how long they take.
I suppose it's possible that conditions are more favorable to the Ecuadors or something.

Well if it starts to fuz up a little you should be great.
Then you start to see little knots which look like little white balls laying on the fuzzy myc. They form into pins.

Ahh thank you, Well one has tons of little white fuzzy balls on the top, one has a few white balls on the side. The rest all look "dry" and 0 little white balls, is that bad?

Looking dry is a bad thing. I was unsure of the whole misting thing for my first flush, and my cakes got too dry.. I think it hurt yield.
Here's a picture of primordial knots from my 1st flush. You can see some of the tiny ones are beginning to turn brown at the tip, signifying its transformation into a pin.

believe it or not, that is most likely a good sign. That means, the cake has stopped growing mycelium and has switched over to generative phase. Keep an eye for contam as that can have the same effect. Good luck For untrained eyes, cakes without fuzz can look dry. If you post a good pic, we should be able to tell you. But immediate indication of drying mycelium. It'll appear yellow. Smooth white doesn't neccessarily mean dry. I think you are doing good. And you should expect pins within next couple of days. I know someone said that before, but really... My guess is within 2 days. You should check the bottom of the cake carefully. You should see tiny white dots. In a day or two they'll turn into something bigger. Good luck! Sam

Oh ok, well you can imagine getting a little depressed, becuase I've put a hellva lot of work into this, and I keep things super clean, such as spraying the room with air sanitizer everytime I take off the lid. I dedicated an entire room to this thing, but thanks you cheered me up.
I have lights on them to keep them heated up to 74-75F, and they are always at 98-100% humidity, but could the lights be drying them?
FYI I missed them all with water/very small h202 content, sollution.
