Turn inward
    #3316250 - 11/03/04 06:15 PM (19 years, 4 months ago)

I see a lot of you are upset about this election, and I can empathize, but getting depressed about it does no good. The people have spoken, and their will will be carried out. However, you still own your own life. You still can make life better for those closest to you. Change begins within yourself. Become the change you wish to see in this world.

I didn't realize how conservative the states were until this election... it's quite disheartening.

come on people don't turn this into a political thread... that's another forum.

I voted Kerry and am personally disappointed in the direction my country wishes to continue moving, but I'm probably not leaving this country any time soon............. so I shall take your advice - wise words, silversoul

Plus, I would be worried that, with Kerry, people might actually think well of him. At least with Bush the enemy is well defined.

The 'elites' putted Kerry not as a true opposition agains Bush into that game...

So this game was predetermined.

Even if I am a hostile to Bush, like he said in an interview, that he thinks of war if he thinks of any foreign country, I will try to practice love, wher- and whenever I am possible to do so.
Thanks silversoul for reminder

Kerry is still less evil. Kerry isn't perfect, but at least he knows how to be statesmen without dragging his religious beliefs into it.

yes I realize, with my ten posts that I do not the boards precident but allow me to try to turn this thread into a philosophical one.

(insert a HUGE FREAKIN SMILEY)

Thier is Kharma in the world, both the presidential nominees were members of the same skull and bones club, a cryptic fraternal organization with some crazy shit including initiation. Kerry was two years Bush's senior at the same school. Dedudctive reasoning would have it that this is the prime age differance for, thats right folks, hazing.

So let me ask:
Kerry got to haze Bush.
Bush beat Kerry at election.
Universe finds a little bit of equillibrium?

Bush and Kerry were just kids then. Bush wasn't even a born again Christian then.

Interesting thoughts though... I also read that both Bush and Kerry are distant cousins, and both of them can be traced back back to King James I, who compiled the KJV 1611 Bible used today by fundamentalist Protestants.

I heard that Kerry didn't (/wouldn't.. i heard this months before the results..) win because they want Hillary Clinton to run in 2008, and she can't run against a standing democratic president.

Imagine Hillary Clinton vs. Arnold rofl
