steralizing sharp knife to scrape spores..

heya. i havent actually started cultivating yet, but i tried flaming a sharp knife for a few seconds and it charred... am i to avoid that when i'm handling the spores? or doesnt it matter if it chars a bit?

You never need to use a knife. Pyslocybers syeringe Tek doesnt need one and is about the best Tek around.

But if your thinking of going the Shroom Wizard way (inevitable failure) and just scaping spores from a print into a jar then dont. Its prone to failure.

It pays little/no attention to sterility, 20 minutes boiling is not enough to steralize anything let alone a PF style jar. I tried it once, every jar got bacterial/trichoderma infection. Its a crappy tek. Go PF style at fanaticus.com

I pressure cook all instruments before making syringes.

It works for me and thousands of others who have been doing it for years.
