OK I'm sure this has been asked before. but i have searched and couldn't find anything. What do you all prefer one big casing or many small ones. also where do you guys get your containers from. Ive been using those disposable foil ones used for baking.

One big casing is beneficial for more surface area, but than you are putting all of your eggs in one basket, if that risk doesn't faze you than . I personally like the idea of many small ones so if I lose one, oh well.

my buddy always uses a bunch of small ones.  he did do one really big one and had decent results.  however, if your one big one contams you lose it all

if one little one contams you still have the rest of the little ones.

by little ones i mean he uses trays that are about 12" x 3" and probably 4" deep.

This is from the 50/50 casing tek in shroomery:

"We suggest using plastic trays. You can buy ones at Home depot that can be cut and taped to any size you want. Look in the gardening section by the seedling transplanting trays. They are long, black and thin. They can be cut and taped very easily. "

Please, can anyone post a link to order these trays online? I cant find them.

Thanks!!
