The Pan subb season is long gone for Michigan. They seem to stop fruiting when temps fall into the low 50s/upper 40s.

Loom for Amanita Muscaria, if you are well versed in tripping hard (to the hilt, bone, max, yadayadayada). They are surely out. You COULD look for straggler subbs in covered stable areas fruiting late if they are covered and real fertile. Oh- and don't forget gyms (not that I reccoment newbies hunt gyms cause that's not good).

Too bad you didn't get the syringe earlier this year. Go for stumps, and rotten logs obviously for gyms- no one can tell me they are not out right at this very moment in Michigan. Ever tried the Amanitas?
