Bake or Microwave Vermiculite

Which would be better to avoid contams? To bake for 30 minutes? or microwave on high for 10? Common sense tells me baking would be better, but I'd like some input from other people.
I've dunked a couple jars and I'm going to let them sit for 12 hours.

I have microwaved all my verm and coco coir in the past....
and so far *knocks on wood* I havent had any problems...

I like that method. It had a couple things I didn't think to do. I'll incorporate that into my method.

I baked for an hour after spraying the vermiculite all wet. No contams as of yet.

5 mins, pull out and stir... then 5 more mins..
follow that to the "T" and you cant go wrong
