HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!!!!! STRONG FUCKING CYANS PICKED YESTERDAY!!! I searched with my friend from 8:00am to 2:00pm. And just when we where about to give up, we went to one last spot and I was so discuraged at this point that I didnt even bring my backpack out of the truck. But immediatly when I set foot on this spot, I step in a fat pile of dog shit, and look down...what do I see? A fat capped cyanescen staring me in the face. There where a bunch of people and cops and I reacted quite intensly and brought too much attention towards our direction so I bent down and said, "oh shit "J" I hurt my foot", I was motioning with my eyes to him to look down by my foot. He didnt get it! I said, "J" come here, NOW!! I hurt my goddamn foot!!! There where literaly dozens of people walking by in this area and they where literaly no more than 5 feet from us!!! This was a tense situation. It was do or die at this point. So "J" acted like he was checking my "hurt foot", when in fact he was combing this little patch of mind candy for every last developed cap! We came up with 4 LARGE mushrooms and 3 smaller ones. We kept looking in this area and not another single one was found. It was really bizzare ahow we didnt find them and they found us. "J" was telling me all day about how they have a mind of there own and want to be eaten so you are more likely going to find them in more obvious areas. We had been searching the less inhabited areas most of the day! This is my first time ever finding psilocybe mushrooms growing wild so as you could imagine I was super stoked!! The legend is true!!! They do grow in the bay area, keep your eyes peeled and expect to hunt all day! Oh and be careful when eating them. this patch was REALLY potent.

Thats funny, I have been getting this reaction from everyone lately. Man, do you really think I have something to prove? Are you really doubting my integrety because you think I get some kind of weird kick out of lying over the internet on a saturday morning? LOL I dont even know you, Im jsut trying to exchange information for YOUR benefit, or maybe I do get a kick out of telling stories . But I assure you closing your mind to the possibily that I truly MAY HAVE found a patch of cyans is only gonna hurt you. Anyway I dont have much more to say Im gonna go enjoy some live punk and metal bands, Id rather do that be posting all day. BTW, I will still post the pics when I get them developed, for YOUR benefit. Peace.

Stinkfish, I found these in a man made area.. tall grass woodchips, apparently they tend to grow more common in artifial landscaping and such with woodchips, they are less common in a wild 100% natural setting...hope that helps! peace

I'd love to see pictures, I'm pretty sure the SF Bay Area hasn't ever had reports of cyans this early in the season.

I WOULD LOVE TO POST THEM RIGHT NOW BUT I HAVE FILM TO USE UP, I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY......I SEARCHED ALLLLLLLLLLLLL DAY AND FOUND ONE PATCH OF 7 or 8 IN SOME TALL GRASS MIXED W/ CHIPS AND DIRT OUT OF 5 HOURS OF SEARCHING, we found a bunch of what appeared to be, meadow mushrooms througout golden gate, however, also a few galerinas, and a huge patch of gymns on a log. From the responses that I have recieved I found a patch out of season, oh well......... LUCK! Thats all I can say, luck and a determined 5 hour hike. For 7 or 8 measely cyans. Ill be out and about tommorro and I can almost guarantee I wont come back empty handed.

let me just say psiclops even if he is lying which i really dont care either way, I dont understand such negativity towards someone who is just sharing information. Give them the benefit of the doubt until a month goes by with no picture. If he says he needs to waste the film before he gets the pics so be it. i just dont understand people getting so upset, I think his story sounds legit until proven other wise why give him a hard time...

How far north are you finding these? Its still dry as hell. Still no pics of CA actives yet. Save for the Humbolt Amantias that we're posted.
