im getting pretty close to snapping. seriously what the fuck is wrong with us? us as a world. we're all fucked up. if this was in the hippie era non of this shit would just be shrugged off and laughed about. people being bombed is more than just a dinner conversation, or a thing to pass the time at work. if your house was raided and your father shot int eh head and your family rubbed and beaten in the dirt, what would you be doing? there is almost no public outcry for people around the world (including europe/north america) who are been beaten, raped, murdered and so on. is life really this meaningless. fuck people use to have beliefs, and stand by them. now we just argue on tv and computers. we got issues, not just republicans or democrats. every fucking one of us. im pretty fucking sick of the shit thats happening here at home, down south, across seas. whats it gonna take for us to get off our asses and do something? voting is good yes, but shit its not gonna fill the hole we've dug ourselves into. our ancestors would be ashamed, and frankly im ashamed. someones gotta start something we need a fire lit under our asses to get shit moving. storm the white house, block the parlaiment buildings whatever. if anything gets put together im going to be there no matter what. no corner is too far to travel to put an end to this shit. and people saying we cant do anything, bull shit.
rant over. now what, anything change? not likely. dead fucking serious lets get the ball rolling, its gotta start somewhere.

I agree. Its too huge to just overthrow though. This country is run by 700 or so people that make all the decisions. They control the police and the justice system and theres not much we can do about it. I wouldnt be surprised if the powers that be would rather nuke the world than be overthrown. Unfortunatley for us they have the power to do that.

us has 230 million, im only guessing theres 50+ million over 15 years old that arnt a cop or military etc. probably wouldn't take 1 million in dc to cause change. i see where your coming form but its easier than we want to believe to force change. we just lack willingness.
anyway i've gotten pretty pissed. time for change, this cant go on the way it has been the last 30 years....and its been getting worse every year since.
not even overthow them...just storm the bastards and make them realize how fine the line between almighty and squirming little ants realy is. not even bush is thick enough to not understand that. there is a melting point, and its gotta hit soon.

Problem is the system is designed to make people feel useless and apathetic. It's a bleak souless technocratic society run by a handful of oligarchs who through their implemented systems prey on people and lock them into a trap where all one can do is keep going. All one can see is the same bleak faces on every political party and the same greedy little pig eyes.
It has only ever been gras roots movements that verge on revolution that have ever led to those 700 cunts who run tings crapping themselves and giving an inch to the people.
Then they slowly erode those advances till they can't get away with it any more, till the people are pushed too far....and another snap happens, if it ever will.
A fundamental change of the political system, society and the morality of politics is necessary in order to move on.

Its too late for us. The next step is not revolution. The next step is extinction. I know, it sucks. Life will go on without us. The world will fix itself. We were just a blip on the radar of time. We are going to be relegated to the realm of meaninglessness where we belong.

I dont understand the point of being a doom and gloom merchant. Its not like you have the inside track on the future of the human race! (or do you??  ) The more people who can feel positive and aware the more chance we have got of turning this mess around.

i think one problem is that this is an age of entertainment. people simply cant make any meaningfull emphatic connection to whats happening to others. its all tv, its all entertainment, to so many of us nothing is 'real' anymore. MAYBE if we see some of this shit in person with out own eyes the emotional barriers would break, but as long as we watch these atrocities in a heated house while munching chips, it will never be powerfull to us, just another show

ya thats the attitude we need. roll over let them walk all over teh world and end our life for good. thats a great way to have things. although its sorta proves the point that we, as a society, really dont seem to give 2 shits about hte earth. as long as we can buy our new car, 3 bedroom house have 2 kids and a dog named spike it really doesnt matter that millions of people are being murdered and that we are inching (or miling as it seems) our way to extinction. i for one hold hope that there is at least a big enough group of people who care to make some change. not caring and admitting defeat and not giving the chance for change is probably the fastest way to extinction.
eventually we ARE going to be affected by this, and i mean more than delayed flights and $100 a year tax increases.

When did I say it was worthless? Why does something have to be worth something? Sounds like dodgy logic to me, that kind of thinking is what has brough humans where they are. Humans as a species are very young in comparison to the planet yet we carved this rock up at an amazing rate. Do you really think we are built to last? To co-exist forever (infinity)?
