Nope, not really. Remember, Democrats benefit from BIG turnout. They don't care if dead people vote. I'm sure they will have challengers too, but not like the Republicans.

This law, while fair on paper, has a very partisan effect.

Remember, there are many minorities who remember when segragation was legal. They don't like being subjected to those same tactics every 4 years. It does effect turnout.

The GOP registered about 3,500 challengers, and Democrats say
they've registered thousands but won't give a specific number.

Why don't Democrat challengers hang out in rich white people's
polling stations then? Fight fire with fire.

My point is, the Republican challengers will be making most of the challenges. It serves their interests. It helps their guy. Dems will be there too, but only an idiotic Democrat would challenge a voter just because of race.

Of course I do not know this for certain, but it makes sense.

This is Kinda' like the electoral college fiasco of 2000... remember how many Democrats wanted to see the Electoral College go away, because it would likely help get their guy in office?

Both sides try to work things to their advantage. Ohio challenging is yet another example.
