pan cyan and azure
    #3306375 - 11/01/04 09:26 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I am a seasoned grower just starting back up i ordered a cyan syringe from ralph and am about to get some things going i also got my hands on some very good azure slides and am doing agar work with these, i know all the basics but have been out of the loop for a while. any thing new with these strains that may help me, ive read a little about oven bags, how well do theses work. Could replace the jar? seem very promising.

what do you ppl think?

lots of people prefer jars. You can use a bag if you want. Oven bags work great for pastuerizing poo and straw though.

i was just thinking after your small amount of spawn has colonized just pasteurize your poo and mix in the same bag. seems to me its hassle free and in expensive also larger potential for large quantity of substrate,

ive heard growing cyans is hard but well worth it in potency but i also heard that cyans will grow best with bulk method of straw/poo so look up a tek of that on here its supposed to work best

as for azures look in the grow logs section for the guy growing them on wood chips in a fish bowl type thing he is doing great with them

i know basically how to grow them, what would be a optimal bulk tek for the pan cyan's, what would be a good method for a huge amount of azure spawn for this spring?

i dont know for azures, i know only about pan cyans so i'll talk only about them.
they are NOT difficult to be cultivated as all think. you just need to buy a bag of manure from a nursery and pasteurize it (in an oven bag at 65V for 6-8 hours) and you are ready! no difficulty at all! they like lots of fresh air and high humidty.

tha trip is pure bliss!!! very diferent from cubes. stronger but smoother! i love them
