I only had enough materials to make a single rice cake this time around, its about 1 to 2 days away from being 100% colonated in its jar so i figure its time to build its chamber for growing, my question is what woudl you all say is the ebst growing chamber for only a single cake? I dont want to use a fish tank because i figure till be too big and not get enough humidity.. so let me know what you all think.

PMP. I'm sure you'll grow some more in the future. And besides, sounds like you want a good advice. I wouldn't recommend anything else unless you have other restrictions. Poormans Pod(PMP) Good luck Sam

New Question, how much space between the top of a cake and the roof of the grow chamber does there have to be minimally? I may have bought a case too small, because with the stones and water and such in there it would give the cake what seems to be anwhere between 1 to 2 inches i thinjk from the top. Is this too close and should i buy a new bin that is taller?

I would definatly get a deeper bin. I would have no less than 6 in. from the top of the cake to the lid. It's very important, especially if your going to take prints.

I'd say you need about 5-6", but depends on the strain. Few that outgrow the container will bend once it hits the top, but you'll be close to harvest anyways and won't have to worry for long.
I heard B+ can get fairly large, though. You'll have to check the average size for your strain, then add an inch or two to it. Good luck

Sam should be a mod!
Sam is learning fast as is Scatmanrav and a few others the base knowledge is there and it shows both are just obtaining pro rankings in my book. I don't want to take anything away from these guys so lets say in time they may make very good mods, there is more to being a mod than giving good advice also Desiree I know this reply is off topic but I also agree these guys stand out and are definitely worth an honorable mention! WTG guys!
