Please post your experiences with Ouija boards. It's that time of year.
Having never used one, I will just kick back and listen.. :cthulhu:

I have used one, but the results are debatable. The subconcious mind is very creative. I have experienced automatic writing, but found the output to be questionable subconcious garbage. This provides no proof of spirits.

Nothing spooky just nonsense words and phrases that are all disconnected seeming.

I used one when I was about 13 with my then-girlfriend. I have to say, if it was subconscious, our subconsciousness is pretty impressive! The damn thing was flying across the board writing stuff faster than I could have done on purpose. No kidding.

I only wish I was more mature then so I could have asked it better questions than, "Will my step dad ever give me his Austin-Healey sports car?"

It said he would...but as it turned out he ended up selling it and I never so much as drove it.

I would love to see something like that...usually I only get a response on the board if someone is "cheating".

I've read many ouija board experiences and one common thread is that the board won't work unless a certain pair of people share the planchette. The focus is almost always on one person in that pair.

If you dont' have the right people, you won't get any results.
That seems to be a major theme with these stories.

I know what your saying. I consider cheating responses to be things like "Lick my ass" and whatnot.

I used to have something similar in concept to a Oija board, called the "Psychic Circle." I got mixed results as far as predictions went. However, it was interesting that my friend and I would use it while listening to Led Zeppelin, and it would spell out a word seconds before we heard Robert Plant sing that word. Also, once we asked it to show us a sign, and that night we found a bunch of spiders in the sink.
