AFOAF has a few nice size mushies poping up through the casing and their viels are tearing, But there are also a good amount of premature mushies and pins waiting to grow up, He heard not to pick the Ready mushrooms till all of them catch up. Is this true, and why?

If you have a quick maturing strain such as B+, the time to pick is now(and just hope you don't disturb the ones still growing). Even if it is an average maturer, you only have about a one day window to pick before sporulation...and you don't want that, for the sake of potency and cleanliness...

Try picking the big boys and put a little casing material over those spots so when the next flush comes, it will hopefully be a little more even..
