No, if you don't open it, everything of microscopic scale was killed and remains dead inside the PC. There is really no reason to "clean" a PC, although using foil and some other substances will cause the inside to 'stain' a bit, which you can prevent by putting a little vegetable oil in there before you PC your jars. Merely cosmetic.

If you followed a good tek and know how to use your PC properly, there is really no need to wait to weeks for contams to show up: they won't. This is why we use the PC. As long as you stay as sterile as possible once you take the jars out, you have little to worry about.

Waiting is not a great idea. You want to inoculate quickly to beat the contams, colonize before they start.
