Coir, bacteria [again]

I thought it was a fluke, but coir has given my little bald warriors bacterial blotch again.
The stuff colonizes and pins like mad, it's really great, but I'm to the point of pressure cooking it now. Hydrating with boiling water doesn't seem to stop the blotch, I have some that I've 'pasteurized' for an hour or so--have yet to see if it blotches or not.

This is the growbrick brand, and like I said, it performs great except for the damn blotch. Since it's bacterial, not mold, I'm pretty sure it isn't hanging around in the terrarium but rather is in the casing itself.
I could be wrong, though. . .there has to be enough people running coir casings by now; anyone else with blotch? I think egghead had a touch of it once.

You may be misting too much. Coir holds water very well, and my friend only mists once or twice a week. Also make sure you are fanning regularly. Old air invites contams.
