I just thought I'd share my newest addition.
Its a Hagen's pit viper:
It's about 2 weeks old and it is a freakin land mine.

guess crotalus anti-ven aitn work on them eh? man im rusty with my medical snake shit 
anyway congrats! i used to look everywhere for one of those, had the perfect tank all doen up and everything. but im in canada

Thanks bro!! Yeah crotalus does work with these guys. I've got a few vials just in case. I got some major sweats when I took this pic earlier. It took a while for her to calm down.

nice! tehre is only one hospital in our province that has anti venom. rest is in private collectiong, but heres the catch. all pit vipers (all vipers maybe, cant remember) are illegal to own here cause of our 1 native rattlesnake. so now no one knows how has antivenom. think some people have permits and a coupel universities have some. anyway thats teh main reason i didnt get big into it. all teh banks are down south or even further unfortunatly.
took some balls to get that shot...id want some sorta killer zoom camera 
although my dream hot is definatly a wagners. hands down. but tree's are pretty damn sweet!

im very jealous of the gila. bu ti personally wouldnt want to own one...they hide WAY to much for my liking...

I have a deep interest in gaboon vipers. There just massive and so ornatly patterned. I also like the yellow vipers, I think they are closly related to the one you have. How much did a juvenile hogans cost?

they are but they gotta naw on ya for a bit. their venom goes via teh outside of their teeth, not fangs.
sheik, you ever lookied into rhinos? gaboons are SWEET no doubt but picture a gaboon with greens, pinks, yellows and a horn!

Yeah rhinos are insane lookin!!!! And no snakes can't get high like you think. It would prolly just get a respitory infection. I've been thinking of getting a temple viper.
