Wicked, once when i was younger we had just move to a new house and had used empty banana boxes to pack up. I saw the cat pawing at soming besde one of the empty banana boxes, a tiny (6" long) snake with a small yellowish diamond on the top of its head. I got a towel and used it to pick him up and kept stuck him in my recently vacant 25 gallon. When ever he would get aggitated the diamond on his forehead would puff right up and darken in color a bit. He only lived a few weks then died =( Any idea what kinda snake it could have been?
If anyone was wondeirng what was living in my aquarium before,I had 4 red eared turtles "Rapeal","Leonardo","Michealangelo", and "Donetelo", they were all about 10" in diameter and weighed several pounds each. (you shoulda seen how they would tear apart a frog when I stuck one in their aquarium), I donated them to an elementary schools kindergarten class because they were too much to handle.

Damn, that snake sounds phat as hell whatever it was... I might go look it up sometime just to find out what type of snake it was. What area of the usa or what country are you from? Just so I can get an idea of what climate the snake lives in. That sounds real cool about that yellow diamond though. Also, leopard geckos are like nice.. you really have to piss em off before they'll bite. When I was younger I would catch corn snakes and copperheads just to see how many I could find and stuff. I never got bit by any copperheads but they've striked at me before. They usually strike one time to try and scare you, thats not like an all the time thing but usually. I was looking around the net and seen a place where they sell corn snakes for like $45 - $55 depending on what kind it is. They also have like albinos and stuff that they've breaded that cost a lot more but these are just the normal corn snakes you find around the house and stuff. I can't believe people buy that shit, heh. I also seen a place that was selling rat snakes for like $30... I could go catch a couple hundred of those in the fall. They usually get in sheds, storage buildings, and barns and like just hang out on the boards up high. I wouldn't pay $1 for one of those ugly ass things, people sell/buy some of the stupidest shit :oP hehe

seriously! up here (canada, quebec) we have grass snakes and garter snakes. They aren't all taht common but youll see one every so often =) Once, when i was about 13 I was walking along a pathway through the woods, I saw like a 4 1/2 foot long garter snake I took my shoes off and put both my socks on one hand like a glove. then I very carefuly walked over and grabbed the mother fucker behind the head! I played with him for a goo dportion of the day and evertually had him all around my neck and stuff! Let him go at the end of the day.. =) I think the snake that I found came in the boxes of banana's now this is of course jsut an assumption but its still possible.. Isnt it? Heh. About the kittens, we've decided to keep one of them, hes got such a gosh darned good personality! So now were down to 2 heh.

I agree Tokay's are the shit. A friend of mine had one a ways back. He lived in a really shitty apartment and he let it run around and eat all the cockroaches and premie mice. It was one damn happy gecko. Sadly though one day it came up missing, I think it lost a 'bout with a rat.

I guess the bannana box thing is possible. When I was a little kid I use to find garter snakes and baby rat snakes and stuff and play with em all the time. I was an only child and lived in the country, so I had nothing better to do than catch salamanders and frogs at this little creek at my grandma's house or catch snakes I'd find around the house. My grandpa shown me what copperheads and racers and shit looked like so I figured I'd be able to tell em apart. I'm suprised I never got bit cause I'd catch baby snakes all the time and even now its hard for me to identify baby snakes without getting a closer look.... here's a story my friend's dad told me. His best friend went fishing at this creek one day and like when he first got there there was this little boy sitting there fishing. He asked the kid if the fish where biting and the kid said, "No, but these worms sure are."... the dude didn't know what he was talking about and just went on his way, when he got back the little boy was laying there dead. He had found a next of baby copperheads and was trying to catch em and go fishing. The dude told use that story when I was real messed up and he's the type of dude that always tells funny stories and stuff and we where expecting it to be funny and then he's like "the boy was dead"... the end. Pretty messed up story.

Thats a wicked story man, well, its well said =P. We don't have any poisonous snakes or spiders or scorpions or anythng here. Nothing venomous in canada... I've got a story myself. When I was about 4 years I was watching television one day when suddenly a commercial came on the tv that caught my attention. Lemon juice for your fish, well advertising worked its magic on me and the next time we were at the grocery store i saw the little lemon shapped squeeze bottles and asked to get one. My mother seeing no harm got one (after pretty much a temper tantrum was thrown by yours truly) When we got home i couldnt wait to try out my new toy, I ran over to my fish bowl which had my two pet gold fish in it. I emptyed the bottle in and was disapointed to see they didnt do anything new. Later in the evening though, they were swiming upside down, =P

www.bonsaikitten.com I have three cats that are nice mantle peices. I reccomend you do that with yours; that way you can keep a few and they take up hardly any space but they don't live that long. But ya this guy who lived near me moved in from miami and had a uhaul full of plants. A few days later I saw this big lizzard (knight anole) and stanked it. It lived about 4 years in a terrarium and was really fun to watch especially when the crickets were dropped in.
But damn those geckoes eat mice! Shit. Cool. I always wanted to give my fiends ferrets some mice but she wouldn't let me.
