Yes, I have seen the countless posts of others finding Baeo's...
But on a more personal note, none of my 5 patches have produced more than 2 Baeo's this year. I found all of these patched last year, (yes i used scissors)and i was just wondering if they only fruit for one year and never again?
Maybe it just isn't there time around here yet , but it sure is disappointing.
Thanks, and as always any replies or suggestions are appreciated and welcome!
-------------------- Don't you look at me in that tone of voice!
That means the run has ran. APparently you are a victem of landscappers blues. They stopped using the ferrtilizer which was loaded with spores for P. baeocystis. I hadd some lawns from 1977 until 1986, then they stoped fertilizing. That was Evergreen Tree DSSErvice. had another lawn in front of a popular Seattle Nite-Spot which produced blue ringers and baeocystis for four years and then i came by one day and the dishwasher at the club was mowing the lawn and the regular landscaping service was dismissed.
So that is normal for the region. Had two wo lawns in 1997 until 2001 and than the landscaping service changed and the shrooms did not return. Usually those kind of public places change ever three to four years or so.
