I just recently had a casulty to the contamination war. The green bastards to be correct it was devouring my baby. I decided to slice the green cake off. Now a few days after. the piece seems great having that wonerful aromic smell and have no green signs. Just curious is this safe to munch from?

it will be safe. Did you make sure there wasn't any trace of trichomia(or whatever, I can't remember the name) left??. I'f you failed to completely get the stuff out, it will take you down again. From what I know, green mold can't do any harm. I wouldn't eat them though until you make sure it won't harm you. Better safe than sorry.

others may tell you different but i think it is perfectly safe..if you got a spot of green mold and you cut it away and the mycelia recovers then its almost safe to say that you are in the clear..

When the green mold you describe is in fact really intense green (and not blue/green) you can assume it's Trichoderma.
It is not known to be a pathogenic mold, when removing all it's traces you should be able to eat the shrooms. But in my opinion everything wich contaminates should not be used until you are sure that it's not pathogenic!
