Basically this article says that this years election has the record for the amount if disinformation and distortion by both parties in history. The media, haven't been analyzing the ads and just report them without any type of factual clarification at all.
Here's a few quotes from the article:
"The percentage of TV ads with misleading messages is also up from a record 50 percent set in the 1996 presidential race, Jamieson said. "
"No matter who wins Tuesday's election, the 2004 presidential campaign will go down in history for its record volume of distorted messages, misinformation and outright mendacity, analysts say. "
"On the whole, analysts say Bush's use of distortion has been more audacious than Kerry's"
I don't know about you guy's but I'm sick of this shit.

Give me a fucking break. Do Rather and the NY Times count as Kerry distortions? And the IAEA? And Burkett? How about the totally phony draft issue?

The sad truth is that practically nothing can be done about this. Profit driven bias happens on both sides. Everyone eats it up.

No, it won't. Because te 2008 campaign will be worse. As will the 2012, 2016, blah blah blah.

I did find it kind of ironic that they are reporting on a shitty media when they are part of that shitty media.
I don't know if you were implying that reuters supports the left or terrorism but I don't think that is the case. Mainstream media isn't liberal or right. The media only cares about money. They will do whatever they can to make it. They don't care what they report on as long as it brings in the bacon.

I was implying that Reuters is particularly bad at distorting news about Israel or America. Yes, Reuters sympathizes with the Pals -- anyone who spends a few weeks reading their coverage can't help but agree to that. Similarly, they despise Bush and would say anything they thought they could get away with to see him defeated. Again, it's no big trick to pick up on this.
Some of the most heavily distorted news stories I've seen in the last two years have been Reuters articles. I've even posted a few here in this forum.
