I've had countless open-eye visuals but never CEVs... Whenever I close my eyes tripping, it's just the same old 'black noise' as when sober.
I'm just grateful it's not the other way around...

I'm sure you could visit a bible club or something if you are looking for somebody that's never had visuals.
dose higher if you have no CEVs, they're always there.

I agree... they are there, takes a high dose to notice 'em... but once you do, you'll see 'em on low doses too.
Kinda' like Winamp Visuilizations.

Hmm, is this the common consensus? I've always heard of the CEV coming before the OEV. I've heard of people having CEVs from good weed, low doses of psychedelics... I've never had them from great weed or high doses of psychedelics.

3 or so good hits of salvia, enough to land me very vivid OEVs...
Up to 5g of mushrooms multiple times, enough to once again give me a world of OEVs.
1200mg DXM, enough for OEVs sufficient to completely cover up reality.
Though not a psychedelic, I've had powerful OEVs on 300mg+ of demerol/meperidine.
That one time with an anti-cholinergic (oops)...

Hell, when I'm high I have CEVs. On mushrooms, my CEVs go 3D.

Sometimes but not always when I smoke bud I can close my eyes and witness an intense world of CEV's which seamlessly stream into each other. I don't know where they come from as it feels like there is virtually no brain activity involved and I'm just watching the show so to speak. I enjoy my CEV's more than any other effects from psychedelics.

I once had an super intense closed eye visual 20 minutes after popping 4 grams of shrooms on a vacation last summer, was like an acid trip with intense neon green and pink and black bordered rows upon rows speeding thru my head, i tried going asleep on shrooms before they hit, craziest trip i have ever experienced, after a 5 hour trip and an out of of body experience i recommended doing shrooms in new places while sleeping - very qrazy

on my recent trip i had very intense cevs it like when i closed my eyes i went to a diffrent world far far from this earth at on point it felt like i was in this space with others that were tripping. very intense is all i can say at one point i saw shots of the rain forests being burned i cryed from that shit i felt so sad when i saw that then there were times when i saw strange deep space solar system shit words cant really describe it. if you arent geting cevs dose higher youll get them

I get the most CEV's during the end of the come-up going into the peak. Even on half an eighth I have 3d CEV's. Try smoking some pot, that makes the visuals stronger.
Here's an awesome way to get CEV's that is really effective. Spray your face with water. I'm serious. Whenever I"m high in a jaccuzi, I divert the jet stream up at my face, and the 'noise' of the imact of the water on my eyelids fueles the CEVs, they become clearer and more intricate. You can do this in the shower too. Pushing on your eyelids can bring about the same effect, but I think its bad for your retina. Definitely don't push too hard, just a light touch is all it takes.

Ayrios, I have CEVs on LSD big time. I've had CEVs on mushrooms, but then again I've had trips without CEVs as well. When I close my eyes normally I can see colors in random blotches of undefined shapes (without the use of a drug), and that's all I see most of the time on mushrooms too. On LSD I see clear cut shapes, but on mushrooms even when I know they are CEVs it's like they are more obscure than the sharp clarity of LSD visuals.. I have more OEVs on mushrooms than CEVs somehow for sure.
Anyone else experience this?

Must be differences in each individual...
I get major CEVs while tripping. In fact, weed gets me them too. And if I want, I can get them sober. While I'm sober I can generate in my mind any texture, detailed animation, shape, form, complexity..
however, the introduction of psylocibin to my body is like letting the flood gates go... non stop, detailed, rich with meaning, infinitely complex and mind blowing CEVs.
I also get intense OEVs but I Think my buddy gets them more profoundly.
I'm an INFP, dunno if that means anything

Wow, yeah. You just summed up the post I was gonna make (minus the acid, you lucky dog! Still want to find it). On HBWR seeds I got some crazy mechanical CEVs in a vivid blue light with turning cranks and wheels and pulleys--no way to really explain it. Good stuff!

for me, CEV are more like dreaming but having really fucked up dreams and thoughts. When on higher doses, one can travel VERY far away from where they are and have many lives and deaths and encounters with being by just closing thier eyes.
But on low doses, its just like a Winamp Visualization, except more complex and totally connected to you emotions, so you see what you feel basically.

Im with these guys. I do get lots of CEVs even when sober but it all depends on what substances I have ingested. I get more fractal like patterns on LSD as oppossed to the tiedye color puddles when shroomin.
