Some of the leaves are gaining a light to dark purple tint. Anyone ever have this happen to them?

Yup, there was a thread about it not so long ago:
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...rue#Post2938093
Several different theories on it as discussed there. Some said sunburn, some said temps, some said nutrients, etc.
What conditions are you growing it in?

From what I have now seen and read it must be from light conditions. What I need to get is a timer for my lights cause sometimes they will be left on for two sometimes three days at a time.

from my botany textbook-
Phosphours
deficiency symptoms: plants dark green, often accumilating anthocyanins and becoming red or purple: in later stages of growth, stems stunted: oldest leaves become dark brown and die.
Nitrogen
deficency symptoms: general chlorosis, especially in older leaves: in severe cases, leaves become completly yello and then become tan as they die: some plants exhibit purple coloration due to accumilation to anthocyanins.
